Data from the Paleomagnetism .col format can be imported to the statistics portal. Each selected file and group will be associated with a new selectable collection. An alternative example of the default input file can be found here.
The Magnetostratigraphy tool will plot declination & inclination versus stratigraphic level. The polarity is determined by coloring reversed directions with a negative inclination black midway between two adjacent points.
This map overview illustrates vertical-axis rotations for the selected sites including confidence parachutes (ΔDx). Declinations, inclinations, paleolatitudes, and apparant polar wander paths can be plotted for major plates.
A pole-cutoff can be selected that will be applied in particular modules.
